I was born and raised in Norway, where I still maintain my base camp. My work is characterised by a multidisciplinary approach, reflecting an educational background in computer science, clinical psychology and social anthropology (PhD).
Following an initial career in academia as a professor of social anthropology, I ventured into the word of international business, while maintaining my university connection as an adjunct professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. My last corporate position was as vice president of corporate social responsibility at the Norwegian multinational Norsk Hydro.
My current work focuses on assisting organisations and individuals in developing cross-cultural skills and capacity for constructive change in a multicultural context.
